Mumbai- Kajal Aggarwal, who made her debut in Bollywood with Singham has received accolades for her brilliant performance in the film. She has managed to impress her fans and audiences in Bollywood with her debut film itself. She has received innumerable congratulatory messages and phone calls post release of the film. Despite Singham being a male centric film with Ajay having maximum screen space, Kajal’s role did not go unnoticed. She succeeded in grabbing the attention of the industry, the media, audiences as well as her fans. Kajal, who has worked in over 20 Tamil and Telugu films is looking forward to keep a balance between Tollywood and Bollywood by doing films for both the industry.
After the success of the film, Aggarwal has been approached by filmmakers in Bollywood but the actress has turned every one of them down. According to sources, she has turned down offers by top directors and producers like Madhu Mantena, Vashu Bhagnani, Samir Karnik and Harry Baweja. In fact, Mantena who made the blockbuster Ghajini, wanted to remake the 2009 Telugu hit Magadheera with Kajal. She also starred in the original Telugu version. Mantena wanted to cast Aggarwal opposite Hrithik Roshan. He is now looking for another actress. Kajal -- who made her Bollywood debut with Karnik's Kyun...Ho Gaya Na (2004) after which she starred in a string of Southern hits -- has turned down the offers because she is concentrating on her two back-to-back South Indian films, in Tamil and Telugu. Not divulging any details about the offers she has turned down, Aggarwal said, "I am currently shooting with Suriya in Chennai for the Tamil film, Maatraan. Then I will start work for Puri Jagannath's The Businessman in Telugu with Mahesh Babu (actor). I've received loads of offers in Hindi. But I haven't zeroed in on any." She, however, is unfazed by the success of Singham. "People ask me how I feel about the success of Singham. I've experienced the same feeling after Magadheera, Darling and Mr Perfect in Telugu," she said matter-of-factly.

She has gone for a nice vacation to Paris and Nice with her friends. She is having a lot of fun there and plans to return soon and start with her new projects. Kajal in Rojamouli movie

Kajal Agarwal who emerged as the number one heroine after SS Rajamouli’s Magadheera is working with the director once again. She is being roped in along side Prabhas in Rajamouli’s next film. The grapevine has it that Kajal has been handpicked by the director himself. Rajamouli is currently busy with Eega after which the film is going to roll out. Though Eega was supposed to be released by now, for various reasons, the film has been postponed to Sankranthi.

Kajal in no hurry to sign films in Bollywood

In general all actresses dream big of Bollywood. But there is one heroine who is not tempted with the offers that she is getting from Bollywood biggies. Bollywood sources revealed, despite getting many offers after the success of ‘Singham’ Kajal has not accepted even a single film. The reason, if she gets tempted for these Bollywood offers she would be loosing her place in the south. The actress however says that she is very happy with the films she is currently doing and that she will not be in a hurry to do films in Bollywood unless the script immensely impresses her. Right now, Kajal is busy with Puri Jagannath’s ‘The Businessman’ in which she is starring opposite Mahesh Babu and a film in Tamil titled ‘Matran’ opposite Surya.
