Kajal says no to topless

Actress Kajal Aggarwal faces the consequences of being a celebrity of the internet age. After making her debut in Bollywood with 'Singham', Kajal Aggarwal is in news again. And, this time she is not very happy! The 'Singham' actress is fuming over the latest issue of a magazine that has a topless picture of the actress!

The 26-year-old-actress claims her cover shoot for the September issue of men's glossy FHM India has been tampered with the bustier she wore wiped out completely to show her 'topless'. Apparently, after the cover shoot, Kajal asked the magazine to show her the pictures and asked them not to publish it as she wasn't happy with the snapshots. But, the magazine went ahead and published it anyway.

"It is a distorted picture. Yes, I shot for the magazine, but not in this way. I used a black tube while shooting and never shot topless. They have photoshopped and changed it," claims Kajal. " The magazine has released a distorted version, which is wrong and unethical. I'm not the kind of person who would ever do a topless shoot," she says and adds, "My reputation and work stand by me."
The actress also accused the magazine saying," They have given wrong statements on my behalf to sensationalise their magazine! My team will take this up with the magazine concerned."

While the actress is talking about her alleged morphed picture, the magazine has gone ahead and published yet another topless picture of the actress and has stated that all the allegations are false.

The editor of the magazine stated," FHM has never in the past or will in the future morph pictures of any celebrities. We shot with Kajal Aggarwal on August 18 in Mumbai and have a full team composed of assistants, stylists, makeup artistes, photographers and others to back it up. We'd be happy to release the full untouched raw pictures on the internet soon to back it up too."

Other victims of morphing

Earlier Vidya Balan and Sonakshi Sinha were victims to fake cover controversy. Vidya was shown wearing a bikini on the cover of Maxim India March 2011, which clearly looked like it was morphed.

" When I heard there was a picture of me in a bikini on a magazine cover, I thought someone was being mistaken for me because I had not done a shoot like that. But I was shocked when I saw it," said Vidya back when her bikini image was floating all over the internet.

Before this was Sonakshi Sinha's morphed picture, on the cover of Maxim India December 2010, which was said to be an original picture of her's.

Mumbai: Kajal Agarwal is apparently upset that her picture on the cover of a glossy was photoshopped to make her appear nude.

The Singham star, who features in the latest issue, now claims that she did not pose topless for the cover. She alleges she was wearing a tube top that was photoshopped to make her appear nude by the glossy.
As reported 'Breast stroke forward' the actress had apparently shot a topless cover.

A source close to Kajal says, "She did shoot for the cover picture wearing a tube top.But the magazine folk photoshopped it and the top has gone missing. After the shoot, Kajal made it clear that she would like to see the photos before publication. When she saw the snapshots she was not at all happy and told them not to publish it. But they still did."

Adds the source, "The magazine has also carried an interview with her, but she refused to give one after seeing the snapshots. But still they have attributed quotes to her and said she is on Twitter when she is not."

Prabhas behid the kajal topless

FHM editor condemned Kajal’s allegations and said that they had done a special photo shoot with her and would release those raw photos if needed. This clearly indicates that Kajal is in a soup. Everybody is wondering why did Kajal made such foolish allegations after doing a photo shoot for FHM? The buzz from film nagar says that it is Prabhas who forced her to play this ‘morphing’ drama.

Rumor has it that Prabhas and Kajal are having an affair and are planning to marry soon. Prabhas’s mother and his elders don’t like this proposal at all and the actor has been trying hard to convince them. At this moment, Kajal did a topless photo shoot, which made things tougher for Prabhas. His respectable family didn’t like this shameless act at all and they have a very good reason to reject Prabhas’s choice now. Therefore, Prabhas told Kajal to bluntly say that those photos were morphed and the poor girl did so without thinking of the consequences.

Now the matter worsened further as FHM editor and publisher was deeply hurt by Kajal’s allegations. This might soon turn into a legal issue which would harm Kajal’s name further. Let’s wait and see what Prabhas will do now

Kajal who arrived in B-town with the smashing success of Singham, had done a photo shoot for the magazine, but her fabricated topless picture was published on the cover, thereby tarnishing her image.

Her sister and actress Nisha Agarwal says that the gimmick has done a lot of damage to the actor’s image, adding that Kajal would never dream of doing such a thing.

She says the family was upset since they were getting innumerous calls from friends, family and well-wishers from the industry, expressing shock over the issue. “We had to explain to them that it was a morphed picture and exposed the unprofessional conduct of the publishing house,” she adds.

The actress is infuriated and is planning to take action against the magazine and halt the issue of the magazine from hitting the stands.

Industry bigwigs thought that Kajal had turned bold in a desperate attempt to get B-town offers. However, it all turned out to be a scam not involving her at all.View Gallery

In fact, Mantena who made the blockbuster Ghajini, wanted to remake the 2009 Telugu hit Magadheera with Kajal. She also starred in the original Telugu version. Mantena wanted to cast Aggarwal opposite Hrithik Roshan. He is now looking for another actress. Kajal -- who made her Bollywood debut with Karnik's Kyun...Ho Gaya Na (2004) after which she starred in a string of Southern hits -- has turned down the offers because she is concentrating on her two back-to-back South Indian films, in Tamil and Telugu. Not divulging any details about the offers she has turned down, Aggarwal said, "I am currently shooting with Suriya in Chennai for the Tamil film, Maatraan. Then I will start work for Puri Jagannath's The Businessman in Telugu with Mahesh Babu (actor). I've received loads of offers in Hindi. But I haven't zeroed in on any." She, however, is unfazed by the success of Singham. "People ask me how I feel about the success of Singham. I've experienced the same feeling after Magadheera, Darling and Mr Perfect in Telugu," she said matter-of-factly.
